Children Waiting For Adoption From JOH International Programs

Special International Situation One

Four siblings are available for adoption, ages five, three, two and one year in age.  Two boys are five and one, and two girls are three and two.  They are doing well in the orphanage.

The ideal family would be in their 30’s, childless, and able to afford to adopt and raise four children.  Fees are reduced significantly.  The family should have an I-600 or be close to it.  Once the match is made it will take approximately 6 months to get the children home.

To learn more about this special situation and these wonderful children please email lisa@journeysoftheheart.net or call the Journeys' home office (503) 681-3075 between 9 and 5, Pacific Time.

Special International Situation Two

Child IC 1 is a lovable little boy who loves being hugged. He was born on December 11, 2006. This delightful child is described as normal in every way, and enjoys laughing and playing with his peers. He is considered special needs because he is missing fingers on his right hand and he has shorter fingers on his left hand.  He really needs a loving family that can offer him access to the specialized orthopedic resources available here in the US. **Available to any qualified family.  Fee Reduction Available.

Child IC 2 is an active and responsive child who will be 2 years old next month. He was born on July 26, 2006 with a tissue mass below his tongue.  The dentist states that they mass will slowly disappear and there is no need for surgery.  The doctor states that he has mild hypotonia and he is developmental delayed.  This special child would greatly benefit in the care of loving family. **Available to any qualified family. We believe this beautiful child will thrive in the care of a loving family.  Although he is a bit shy with strangers, once he feels safe he opens up and is very social and charming.  He has a ready smile when he hears his name. He will be a joy in the arms of a family. **Available to any qualified family. Fee Reduction Available.

Child IC 6 is a 3 year-old boy who was born November 1, 2004.  He is described by his caretakers as an intelligent and affectionate child who enjoys singing.  His physical and emotional development is normal although he does have congenital abnormalities to both legs and his right arm.  He is able to do and go where he wants, with his mobility only somewhat hampered by his disability. He is waiting for a family that can give and receive love, and is able to provide him with access to specialized orthopedic resources available in the US. **Available to any qualified family. Fee Reduction Available.

Child IC 7 is a sweet little 4 year old boy who was born on June 11, 2004 with a vision problem.  This adorable little boy had his gall bladder removed last year and is said to be in weak health. He seemed to be flourishing in every way when a social worker noticed he was not responding to sound.  His hearing was tested and he was diagnosed as being profoundly deaf.   The orphanage director states that he is developing mentally and physically on target according to all other testing.  He attends a special school for the deaf and does well in his studies, but does not like to write.  He is in foster care with the Director of his school.  He is receiving the best of care and is much loved. He is a well-adjusted, pleasant child who has so much to offer.  **Available to any qualified family. Fee Reduction Available.

Child IC 31 is a 17-month-old boy with “beautiful expressive eyes” who was born on February 3, 2007.
