From Sean
and Meegan's
letter..."We
are so excited to adopt a child. We have waited long and
prayed hard to have the chance to adopt. I (Meegan) was
adopted when I was 9 years old, along with my younger
sister...We believe it is important, if the birth
parents desire, to have an open adoption. Sean has been
around both of my families and has seen how the open
adoption can really make sense. I never grew up with any
questions that couldn't be answered by one family or
another. We also believe that if the family that chooses
us would like a closed adoption, to respect their wishes
too.."

From Matt and Jamie's
letter..."We cannot express how excited and appreciative we are to have the
opportunity to build our family through adoption. A family member of
ours is also a birthmother and we’ve had the privilege of talking with
her about her experience. We know this is a very difficult decision for
you and we plan on parenting with love, compassion, respect and above
all, honesty. We believe in having lots of fun along the way and
encouraging our child to express themselves in their own unique way. We
look so forward to learning more about you and your baby. He or she will
always know the unconditional love you have for him or her and we are
open to the amount of contact you feel comfortable with. We wish you
peace and comfort as you choose the right family for your baby. If you
decide to choose us, please rest assured that your child will be
showered with an abundance of love and will be given every opportunity
to live his or her dreams to their fullest potential."

From Matt and
Danielle's Letter..."We
have an extended network of family and friends who are
so supportive of our decision to adopt, and all are
looking forward to the new addition to our family. We
are excited to raise our family at the same time as our
siblings and friends, most of whom have or are expecting
children. Our support system is strong and we are
looking forward to all we have to learn as first time
parents."

From David and Amy's
Letter..."We both feel it is important for a child to be
near extended family.
Besides our family which we
visit as frequently as we can, we also have a solid
collection of friends with biological and adopted
children from all races.
This is a great way for the kids
to see that while each is unique in their own story,
they also share things in common with others their age.
We understand that you may not
know exactly what type of relationship you want right
now.
We also recognize that your
desires may change over time.
You have our commitment to be
flexible and make this a comfortable experience for both
you and your child."

From Sophia and
John's letter..."We
can only imagine how overwhelming things must be for you
at this time. We want you to know that should you choose
us as adoptive parents for your child, he/she will be
raised by loving parents who will be devoted to his/her
happiness...we are supportive of open adoption and would
work with you in determining what you are comfortable
with and what is best for the child"

From Jeff and
Jessica's letter..."We look forward to taking a child on
camping trips, hikes, long drives, and seeing new places
and people. We are caring and respectful individuals,
who believe in providing both the safety of boundaries
and opportunities for fun learning. We have the time to
devote to a baby and so much love and nurturing to
give. Financially, Jessica will be able to quit her job
at the library and be a stay-at-home mom. We believe in
having an “open” adoption, and see the birth mother as a
person of respect. We wish to facilitate the
maintaining of a connection."

From Brad and Katie's letter..."Brad
is patient and a planner while Katie is creative and
spontaneous.
An important strength
in our marriage is that we allow each other to be their
own person. It’s important that we see our friends for
“girls nights” and “guy’s nights” and uphold our own
interests...We
believe that everything happens for a reason and while
those things may not have followed our plans; the best
things in life are surprises. The adoption process has
allowed us to reflect on and appreciate all of the
blessings in our life including our relationship with
one another and a support system of incredible family
and friends."

From Kathy's letter..."As
I consider adoption as a means of creating a family of
my own, I would provide for a child a loving and
nurturing home environment with extended family present.
I would strive to provide the
best education possible as well as opportunities to
develop his/her interests, skills and talents.
I
want to enable a child to grow up to become a
self-confident adult that is compassionate and kind."

From Chuck and Lisa's
letter..."Your
child raised in our home will experience individuality,
stability, fun, relaxation yet structure, and learning
through various venues.
We live on the island of Oahu, in a quiet
neighborhood that is only 10 minutes from the
cosmopolitan city of Honolulu and the fun, ever-famous
Waikiki.
Two of the state's top ten public schools and one of the
nation's best private schools are in our district.
There is a true sense of community and cultural
diversity in the islands and especially in our
neighborhood.."

Letter..."We've been told that being a parent is
both the most rewarding and the most challenging
experience ever. We are ready! Our greatest strength as
a couple is our ability to open up and listen to each

From Stacey and Nate's
Letter..."We are incredibly excited to start our family
through adoption. Every moment together as a family will
be amazing. We will provide our children with the
support they need to explore all their interests.
Education is very important to us. Our children will
attend good schools and have the opportunity to go to
the college. Most importantly we will love and nurture
them so that they grow into confident, loving people.
Should you choose us as adoptive parents we will honor
your special place in our family and respect the level
of openness that you are comfortable with. The child
will always know their birth story and the caring,
courageous people you are. "

From Ann and Victor's
Letter..."We
have always enjoyed being outdoors and exercising.
Since moving to the area, we have learned to look
forward to the winter because it means snow in the
mountains and skiing not much more than an hour from our
door. We
also enjoy summer activities such as hiking, mountain
biking and camping.
Victor comes from a family that went camping
together every summer, a tradition that we would like to
establish in our household.."

Letter..."We can hardly wait to open our home and hearts
to a child to become a member of our family. If you
chose our family, we will be eternally grateful and will

to have birth parents that love them so much. We will
make you proud that you chose our family. We want the
child to know the courage it took you to make such a
difficult and important decision. We are ready for this
life-long commitment to become a reality and we look
forward to sharing the growth of your child with you
through pictures & letters."

From Tim and Marie's
Letter..."We enjoy learning new things and value
education greatly. We want to provide the very best
education for your child that we can. Marie works in a
Montessori school with an excellent toddler program
where children learn by participating in hands-on
activities. We also believe that education begins at
home. Reading bedtime stories together, going to
museums, and playing games are just some of the
additional ways we will support your child’s education.
We will provide opportunities for your child to try new
things..."

From Dulcey and
Lujon's Letter..."It is important to us that children
are raised to respect themselves and others, as well as
the world they live in. There are several teachers on
both sides of our family, so a quality education is a
key focus for us. One of our cherished values is to
support the dreams and goals that a child may have and
encourage them to try new things. As we were both raised
in loving families, we will give the same kind of
unconditional love and support to our children.
