Mom's Night is still going strong. They are casual, for the most part. A "mom" will volunteer to choose a restaurant or venue and arrange the reservation and take RSVP's. We customarily hold them on the 3rd Monday of every month, starting at 7 p.m. Waiting moms are also welcome. Basically, this is just a venue for the moms to get out and socialize while also networking with other adoptive moms. This is a great source of support and information and a wonderful way to make the wait more tolerable. Right now, at least half (if not more) of the moms have adopted from China and the other half have adopted either domestically or from Eastern Europe, Guatemala, and the Marshall Islands.
