As Journeys of the Heart CQI Coordinator, I am responsible for procedures, reviewing case files and anything else that falls under quality improvement.  I also oversee the financial recordkeeping.  I never imagined that I would be working in the adoption field during my long career as an accountant.  My work at Journeys of the Heart is far more interesting and rewarding that accounting ever was. 

Moving from Southern California fifteen years ago brought major changes in my life.  Rain became the norm and sunshine the exception, especially in the winter.  In the years that followed, my daughter moved to Oregon, married and started a family.  I am the grandmother of two.  My son is an airline pilot.   

Much of my free time is spent quilting.  At last count I have completed twelve baby quilts, several wall hangings and a couple of full size quilts.  I also enjoy taking walks, knitting, reading, and I am planning a garden.  My favorite place to visit is the Washington DC area.
